Collection contains three booklets from the Life Cycle Library, along with a letter of introduction with coupons and a flyer. According to the introductory letter, the booklets "relate the menstrual process to a young woman's physical maturation and to her healthy female self-identity." The booklets include "The Miracle of You: What it Means to be a Girl," "Your Years of Self-Discovery: The Pleasures of Femininity," and "You and Your Daughter: Asked and Unasked Questions Every Mother Should Answer." The letter and booklets formed a part of a larger Kotex Introductory Kit for napkins intended for purchase by mothers on behalf of their daughters. The letter, coupons, and flyer promoted this kit, along with another kit for tampons. Acquired as part of the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture.
